1.   Access data and hosting


You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server only automatically stores a so-called server log file, which e.g. contains the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), thus documenting the retrieval.

Right to object


Insofar as we process  personal data as explained above in order to safeguard our legitimate interests, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. You can disagree with the processing which will take effect in the future. If the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you can exercise this right at any time as described above. If the processing is carried out for other purposes, you are only entitled to object if there are reasons arising from your particular situation.

Our email communication is processed using "MailChimp," a platform provided by the US-based company Rocket Science Group, LLC, located at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Your email address and other data described in this notice are stored on MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to evaluate and send emails on our behalf. Furthermore, according to their own information, MailChimp may use this data to optimize or improve their own services, such as technical optimization of email delivery and newsletter presentation, or for business purposes, to determine the countries from which recipients originate. MailChimp does not use the data of our email recipients to contact them directly or to share it with third parties. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield Framework, which obligates them to adhere to EU data protection requirements. Additionally, we have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with MailChimp. This agreement commits MailChimp to protect our users' data, process it in accordance with their privacy policies on our behalf, and refrain from sharing it with third parties.
